Taco Night and The Bachelorette Finale

SPOILER ALERT: I'm going to be talking about who Emily chose on the season finale of The Bachelorette, so if you haven't watched it yet- don't read this post! Today began my weekend. That's the funny thing about working in the wedding industry. My weekends typically start on the day that is the last day of the weekend for most of y'all. And today I got to spend my time just the way I like it- having a lazy Sunday.

Unfortunately, I was so sleepy from working the wedding last night that I slept through our weekly breakfast of bagels with grandpa. When I finally woke up, I got dressed in my Sunday best and went to Church with the fam. Then, I came home and literally entered lazy mode for the rest of the day. I watched two episodes of Breaking Pointe, looked through Pinterest and other websites for hours, and talked on the phone with one of my friends.

Somehow, the hours flew by and it was time for dinner.

And we had a taco night! Dad made some fish and we loaded them with tasty fresh salsa, lettuce, grilled onions, avocado, and tomatoes. Mmm, mmm good.

Once dinner was done, it was time to plop right back down on the couch to cozy up with mom for the three hour Bachelorette finale! I'm just going to cut to the chase- SHE CHOSE JEF WITH ONE F!!! Woo I'm so excited! He's so genuine and sweet and I love his little kid attitude. I'll admit, I thought he was a little weird at first but he's really just quirky and funny and awesome. Ahh so happy.

I hope they last because I love it when relationships work out. I'm a sucker for a good love story y'all. Plus, Jef and little Ricky seem to have so much fun together and he'd be a great father figure for her. I'm not going to lie, I'm sad that the show is over. Bachelor Pad does start tomorrow night, and I'll obviously be watching that. But mom thinks it's a bit too trashy (probably true) so I might be losing my couch cuddle buddy. Oh well- we still have Pretty Little Liars and Say Yes to the Dress to watch together!

Well, I'm off to bed. All of this lazy doing nothing nonsense has made me tired (which doesn't quite make sense). Night all!
