In our very first watercolor lesson, we learned how to mix and paint with lime green. It is one of my absolute favorite shades of green, as I love that vibrant bold color! But, what do you do if you are painting a floral piece and need an earthier tone? I've got ya covered - this week we're painting magnolia green!
Magnolia green is the perfect earthy green color. I adore using it as a complement to lighter shades of green in floral pieces, and as the main color in herb paintings like the basil piece we're creating today! Its more natural tones are reflective of new beginnings - and in the color psychology portion of this lesson, you'll learn why - and how to best use this color!
