Y'ALL!!! I am SO excited because the collection of my dreams (through the collaboration of my dreams) officially launched yesterday! Yep, that's right - the SC Stockshop and MaeMae & Co. collaboration of styled stock photos for stationers, calligraphers, and designers is now available. And it's sellin' like hot cakes!

And friends, this collection is all a stationer could ever dream of in a stock photo collection. Y'all know I looove me some SC Stockshop desktop images, and I've previously been using them in a variety of ways in my business. The primary way I've done so is to showcase client proofs to my sweet brides!

While the desktop images are beautiful, many of them (understandably so) have props like office supplies, which aren't quite as fitting for wedding designs as they are for showcasing other products.

This new collection has been shot with the mindset of props you would find on a wedding day - gorgeous Mrs. Boxes with the most stunning wedding rings, plentiful stems of fluffy flowers, the softest silk ribbon, and the sweetest vintage stamps. Almost too good to be true!

I also love that they decided to go with a monochromatic color palette, with a handful of different color ways - including a French blue which has been the most popular!

I wanted to show y'all a before and after of how my custom client wedding invitation suite proofs look - so you can truly see the difference!

The top photo shows the invitation suite on one of Shay's white and gold desktop images - which I cropped to just show the tray with the flowers. While the white and gold is a beautiful neutral, the stapler didn't quite fit in with the aesthetic of the image.

The second photo shows the same invitation suite on one of the new blush styled stock stationery photos - and it is such a better fit! The props in the photo pair much more cohesively with the invitations, and that soft blush background really helps to make the white paper pop! (pro tip: I decreased the opacity of the paper pieces to 90% so they wouldn't be so starkly contrasted - I might do a video tutorial of that soon!)

These photos are also so great for showing off your favorite portions of an invitation suite - like this darling watercolor wedding map of Savannah! Shay included vertical images in her collection, and her horizontal images can also be cropped into verticals or square images too, to highlight exactly what you desire!

One of the coolest parts of the collection is that Shay offers each image with the option to have paper styled in (and the paper elements are smart objects - so you can easily overlay your designs in Photoshop!!) and with blank space if you want to add your stationery in as you please. I personally prefer to create my own layouts, since each client has a different type of suite - but when I polled my fellow stationer friends - all of them said they wanted the smart objects! So I'd highly recommend grabbing those types of images, since you get one of each type anyway! Win-win, right? Right.

There's SO MUCH more I could say to brag on my amazingly talented friends Shay and Megan - but I think I've already chatted enough for one blog post ;) I'm sure I'll share more soon! But for now - make sure to head over to the SC Stockshop website via the button above and grab the perfect styled stock stationer photos for your business! There are only 10 of each image available, and they're selling fast! I grabbed the peachy pink ones - but as I mentioned earlier, the French blue has been a fan favorite, and there are only a few of those left!

Which styled stock images are your favorites? How do you plan on using them? I'll be sharing another post soon about my favorite uses for styled stock, and would love to include your ideas in that post, too!
