Happy New Year my loves! I know it is the eleventh of January, but this is my first post of the new year, and since it is a cocktail post - I felt that was fitting!
I am a firm believer in always celebrating life, especially with a tasty glass of bubbly in hand. To me, that doesn't only apply to NYE, I think it can and should happen any ole day of the week! For instance, tonight some of you may be watching The Bachelor, and some of you may be watching the National Championship game while recording The Bachelor (like me!). Both of those would be much better with a tall glass of this Lavender La Rosette in hand, trust me!
- 1/2 oz. of St. Germain
- 4 oz. Brut Rosé of your choosing
- 1 tsp lavender sugar
- lavender sprigs, for garnish
- Pour Rosé and St. Germain into a chilled champagne flute
- Add lavender sugar, and stir
- Garnish with a lavender sprig or two, and enjoy!
See how easy that is? There's no excuse not to make one tonight! Give me anything with St. Germain and Rosé or champagne, and I'm a happy girl (hint hint, something similar to this might be making an appearance at our wedding!)
If you make this recipe, I'd love to see how it turns out for you! Feel free to share a photo on Instagram and use #sjmcocktails so I can follow along!
