Birthday Card Collection & Donations to Celebrate! RVA

Tomorrow is my shop's first birthday!! I will be celebrating all day tomorrow, and wanted to share a bit of the celebration activities with y'all now. I am releasing a new birthday card collection tomorrow in honor of the SJM shop birthday, and have a special little something going along with it that I think you'll love.

For every card sold tomorrow, I will be donating a card to Celebrate! RVA, a non-profit dedicated to celebrating the birthdays of underprivileged children in Richmond. Here is a little bit about the non-profit from Julia, their founder.

Our mission is simple: to give disadvantaged children a memorable birthday celebration in a safe and fun environment. We are firm believers in the power of celebration and the complete and utter joy that we have the privilege of giving kiddos as we celebrate their special day.

Each kid is given a birthday card at their party, and you can help me send them some pretty little birthday cards from my collection by purchasing one of my cards tomorrow! I will match each purchase with a donation to Celebrate! RVA. Every kid deserves a party and a card to make them feel special on their birthday, and I hope y'all can help me bring a bit of joy into these children's lives. Here is the direct link to my shop where you will be able to purchase the cards tomorrow morning.

If you feel inclined to donate more than a card or two, you can also sponsor a child's birthday and/or donate to the non-profit directly. Each sponsorship when you sponsor a birthday child is $15, which will provide a cake, present, and party. You will also receive a wristband that says "I celebrated my birthday with celebrate! RVA". You can find the link to either sponsor a child or make a donation here.

Thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart for being able to help these children celebrate as they should on their special day! I'm excited to hear about the children's birthdays from Julia, and will make sure to post any pictures she sends of the kids with their cards!
