DIY Hot Cocoa Cones
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is making these DIY hot cocoa cones with my mom to give as treats to friends, family, and neighbors. They are such a simple and affordable treat, and are perfect for last-minute gift giving.
I actually posted about these DIY hot cocoa cones last year, and y'all loved them so much that I decided to post about them again! You can find all of the ingredients listed below at your local grocery store and craft store.
Open the bag wide enough so it resembles a cone. Carefully pour the 2 packets of hot cocoa mix into the piping bag. Try to get the packets as far down into the bag as possible before letting the mix come out of the bag so it does not leave a powdery residue on the top part of the bag.
Pour your chocolate chips in the bag on top of the hot cocoa mix.
Pour your marshmallows in the bag on top of the chocolate chips.
Twist the empty space at the top of the bag and tie with a ribbon, and you are ready to give your pretty little gift! It is perfect to pair with a mug and airplane bottle of peppermint schnapps or peppermint flavored vodka. Make sure to tell your friends that this one bag will make two servings of hot chocolate so they do not pour all of the mix into one mug!
