If y'all have been following my blog, you have heard me talk about Lara Casey multiple times. Lara is so many things to me. She has been a daily inspiration to me as a woman who immerses herself in three major businesses: Southern Weddings Magazine, Making Brands Happen, and the Making Things Happen workshops and conferences. She was a warm welcome at both the Southern Weddings V5 Launch Party and Southern Weddings Gingerbread Barn Building Competition. And now, she is my boss at my internship at Southern Weddings Magazine, where she has encouraged and inspired me beyond belief each time I am around her (and virtually around her through Instagram and Twitter!). Needless to say, she is definitely a role model of mine. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of being in the Southern Weddings office during some of the final hours of Lara's launch of her new site and shop. I could not be happier for her that they both launched yesterday afternoon, and the results are STUNNING!
Is that not the most beautiful thing you have ever seen? I never thought I could love a website's layout that much!
Lara's new site is her space for the businesses and workshops/conferences that I mentioned above. Southern Weddings can be found under the magazine tab, Making Brands Happen can be found under the branding tab, and Making Things Happen can be found under both the inspiration and consulting tabs.
If all that goodness isn't enough, Lara also opened a shop! These are some of my favorite items:
I hope that through reading this post and viewing Lara's new site and store, y'all become as inspired by her beliefs and love of life as much as I have.
Are you definitely feeling inspired and are desiring even more inspiration? Well, then you should absolutely join me in attending the Making Things Happen Intensive two-day conference from March 13-14th in Chapel Hill, NC. Today is the final day to register with the early-bird rate (and save $1000!), so what are you waiting for? Like Lara has quoted on her site, "A year from now, you will wish you had started TODAY." -Karen Iamb. Make today the day.
