Oh my gosh y'all, I am so excited - today I sent out our first color cocktail lesson to my sweet Artistic Aperitivo artist friends!!
This week, we're learning how to mix lime green, partly because I recorded this tutorial the day before Cinco de Mayo and had margs on the brain, but also because green is such a versatile color!

Lime green is used throughout so many paintings - in florals, fruit studies, landscapes, portraits, and more - and I cannot wait to share with y'all my favorite ways to use this yellowy-green mixture to evoke certain emotions in our paintings.
Want to learn alongside over 150 sweet budding artist friends? We'd love to have you!! Each Friday, I'll be teaching a 15 minute watercolor video tutorial. In the lessons, I cover how to mix a unique color (no typical color wheel colors here!), a bit of the psychology behind that color and how to best use it in your paintings, and I'm even sharing a quick and sweet practice piece, so you can follow along and continue painting throughout the week!
