Pursue: The Workshop

Design, SJM ShopJessica PeddicordComment

Oh my goodness gracious, I am beyond thrilled to announce that Pursue: the workshop has been revealed today!!! This workshop has been a dream that the ladies behind Rekindled Rentals have been working on for quite some time now, and it is surreal to see it come to life!

I have been blessed to have been a part of this journey as I have been assisting the fabulous Kylie and Molly of Rekindled with their band and web design alongside my design BFF, Tori of Victoria Austin Designs. I am quite literally obsessed with how everything turned out. The colors are as vibrant as their personalities, and how beautiful are the watercolor illustrations done by the talented Rachel Leutkemeyer

Without further adieu, I present to you Pursue: the workshop!

Seriously though, how cute are these two? The videography was created by Owl & Anchor Studios and all of the lovely photography was captured by Amanda Watson Photography.

After speaking with Kylie and Molly, Tori and I got to work brainstorming the brand and web design for the workshop, and came up with this colorful, confetti filled branding board above. We based all of our designs off of this board, including the fun reveal graphics below.

How amazing is this lineup of speakers? Head over to this page on the Pursue website to read a bit more about each lady and what she will be contributing to the workshop.

Y'all are probably interested in what Pursue: the workshop is all about, so here is the description straight from the Pursue website:

Pursue is an intimate, two-day workshop designed to help boutique entrepreneurs rekindle their passion for creating a business and a life that they love wholeheartedly.

Boutique entrepreneurship is a type of business model, it’s a filter centered around focusing on your core and making choices based on a foundation of authenticity. It’s knowing your brand and staying strongly connected to the story you’re passionate about telling. It’s surviving on the quality of your services and products rather than being concerned with prices. It’s believing in being distinct above all else and leaving a lasting impression at each and every step. It’s about being intentional, simplifying your strategy, and creating the best experience possible. The tiny details, that extraordinary attention to detail, are what set a boutique entrepreneur apart.

Being a boutique entrepreneur requires an enormous list of ingredients and a complex recipe to reach true success. We want to simplify the recipe. Will it be easy? No. We know owning a thriving business will always be work, but we also know that it doesn’t always have to be so difficult. It is our goal to find the secret sauce for greatness, nestled somewhere between taking risks for what matters and fearlessness. We believe it’s passion.

Hosted in iconic Dallas, Texas at Rosewood’s five-star Mansion on Turtle Creek from April 28th through April 29th, Pursue strives to create a one-of-a-kind experience for attendees to rekindle their passion for what matters. We’ve collaborated with an incredible group of creatives to provide an opportunity to learn from some of the top boutique entrepreneurs in the industry, whilst indulging in fantastic food (truffle mac + cheese, anyone?) and celebratory cocktails of course.

Ticket includes two full days filled with learning, presentations and one-on-one time with each of our fabulous speakers, a spectacular welcome dinner as well as two gourmet meals throughout both workshop days, transportation assistance to and from the airport, a fancy headshot portrait by the phenomenal Amanda Watson, and a trusted community of fellow entrepreneurs who will be your biggest cheerleaders in 2014. Oh, and did we mention the swag bag filled to the brim with beyond gorgeous goodies? Just. You. Wait.

Doesn't that just sound absolutely amazing? I can hardly wait for April 28th to get here. For now, grab a glass of ice cold champs, read through the pages of their beautiful new website, sign up for the fun newsletter, and peak around on their Facebook page for more photos and updates!

Thank you oh so much Kylie and Molly for including me in this wonderful journey! And thank you to all of the other creatives for contributing your talent!
